A Language of Light and Form

From raw and formless to soft and alive. I create sculptures and lighting pieces that spark curiosity and bring a unique presence to a space. Each work is handcrafted, shaped with precision, and made to tell a story.

Sculptural Lightplay
Light moves through the mesh, casting shadows and reflections that shift with time and space.

Handcrafted with Precision
Each sculpture is shaped by hand, making every piece one of a kind, full of character, intention, and presence.

Poetic Strength in a Hard Material
Hard metal mesh is transformed into soft, flowing forms where strength and vulnerability meet in harmony.

Carrying Stories
Each piece holds meaning, crafted with care and often produced through social collaborations that empower.
Artist. Sculptor. Entrepreneur.
Johanna Forsberg is a Swedish artist known for transforming industrial wire mesh into poetic, sculptural forms. From her studio in northern Sweden, she handcrafts each piece, pressing, stretching and shaping the mesh until it tells a story of its own.
Her work explores the tension between raw and refined, heavy and weightless. The result: sculptures and lighting objects that evoke emotion, spark curiosity, and bring a quiet intensity to the spaces they inhabit.
She regularly collaborates with companies and creative teams, using her process to inspire new ways of thinking about form, material, and the power of hands-on creation.
